Day Two - 03/26/2008 I have to go to work, what TORTURE!
Trying out the new halter. Yes, it is purple, it was purchased before he was born.
He cannot help being so CUTE!
Day Three - 03/27/2008 It snowed. It didn't just snow it was a BLIZZARD! Poor Charlie, I worried about him all night, but he was just fine. He enjoyed playing in the funny white stuff and really apprecaited the stall Ryan built so he had some shelter fromt he sideways snowflakes.
Afternoon training went well today. I put the halter back on him, though he had a little more resistance this time. Instead of taking it right off, I allowed him to wear it for about 20 minutes in the pasture. He played with it a little bit, and then just shook his head, I swear he liked hearing the jingle of the buckles. I worked on holding him close and tightly and he calmed down immediately. Hopefully tomorrow evening we can start working on pressure and release!
The most "activity" we have seen from this boy yet! It lasted about 10 seconds...
Some cute head shots
Another glimpse of his "wild side." Trust me, there is nothing wild about this baby, YET!
