No fear. Began working on leading him and he did great, very responsive to pressure and release. He was fine with the lead rope over his head and around his feet. Also put a hand towel over his back and on the ground around his feet. 
03-30-2008 Still snowing, how about a nap? 
03-31-2008 Ryan and Megan got home at dusk last night so we rushed down to say goodnight to Charlie. When we got home from work today we rushed down to the pasture to see our little buddy! Megan was SO excited to see him and he was SO excited to see us. He greeted us at the gate, in his usual curious style. Ryan carried Megan at first, but she wanted down, NOW! She thoroughly enjoyed being on the same level, eye to eye, with Charlie The Dog. 
Charlie was very comfortable with Megan, and although the lighting was really bad for pictures, we got a few shots of Megan giving her boy a hug. He was surprisingly tolerant and enjoyed her company.

Megan decided it would be fun to play in the barn for a bit. What kid doesn't like to play on the hay bales? Seriously. Mud puddles too, lucky kid! 
 
Ryan begins working with Charlie on imprinting, restraining him and picking up each foot.
