[Pedigree] [Theme Name Ideas]

For me, it is hard to imagine that ANYONE could feel as bonded to their dog as I do to my Tater, but I am beginning to believe that Molly just may have that with her boy Nolan. When I hear her talk about him, I can completely relate to how impossible it is for her to describe how she feels about him. Much like Tater he was one of those meant to be puppies.

As a young dog Nolan excelled in the show ring, finishing his championship at a young age. He was awarded four majors, three by going Best of Breed over ranked specials and one by going Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the supported entry in Harrisburg, PA. As of November 30, 2007, Nolan was ranked 7th in breed points and in the top twenty for group points. He was ranked in the top twenty for both breed and all breed standings in 2006. He has won multiple specialty AOM, BOS and group placements with Molly on the end of the lead the entire time! He has also been invited to the AKC Eukanuba Classic the last three years. Listing his show accomplishments only begins tell the story on Nolan. He is an ambassador for the breed, a goofy boy who his family adores. Nolan obtained his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title in 2006 and in between showing and hanging out at home, Nolan has picked up man-trailing and is enjoying working towards his MT title. Nolan has sired one litter to date with wonderful results. This well rounded boy seemed like the perfect match for our Tater.

No matter now many times I say, it never seems like enough: Tater IS my dream come true. From the moment she was born I was completely smitten with this precious girl. Tater was a big puppy who pushed around her 6 littermates (all boys) without a seconds hesitation. She took to the show ring as if she were born to glide around the ring. Movement and type took Tater to the top going BOW at the 2005 ABC National Specialty, WB at the 2005 NW Regional, Best in Sweeps at the 2006 NW Regional, just to mention a few of her accomplishments. She won a Bred By Exhibitor Group 1 at the Lewiston Cluster All breed shows in April of 2007, finishing her championship with quite a bang! Tater earned her CGC at a very young age and excels with her obedience work when I find the time to train her. I am looking forward to working with her in both obedience and man trailing in 2007. Her exuberance for life is exhilarating for all who are around her. She is energetic, sweet, and just a joy to be around. She has the kind of temperament we dream of, afraid of nothing, quiet in public and happy to meet anyone who will give her a pat on the head. Tater is the entire package.

Our hope with this litter is to bring in a new side of the pedigree which will open doors in future generations. Nolan and Tater seem like a wonderful match, not only do they both possess the conformation that has taken them to greatness, they have the temperaments we strive to keep stable in our lines. Looking at the short comings of each of these dogs, they seem to compliment each other well and we are excited about what we will get from this breeding.
